Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use MyZagreb, including disabled visitors. This statement applies to the website myzagreb.eu.

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA (European standard EN 301 549). The reasons are listed below.

What the website offers

• An Accessibility panel (Alt + A): larger text, spacing, a more readable font, contrast, highlighted links, a larger pointer, reduced motion and a reading guide.
• Read-aloud using your device's voice and voice input with a preview before sending.
• Easy-to-read versions of descriptions once an editor approves them.
• An “Accessibility” filter on the map, in the place list, events and tours, plus Accessible mode.
• A layer of accessible public toilets and disabled parking spaces from OpenStreetMap.
• An AI planner that only suggests places whose data match your needs, with rest breaks and wheelchair routes.
• Skip to main content and page-change announcements for screen readers.

Known limitations

• Most accessibility data about places come from public sources and not all have been checked manually. The “Accessible” badge is shown only when the provider or an editor has confirmed the data.
• Detailed accessibility information is currently available in Croatian only.
• Videos in Croatian Sign Language are not yet available.
• The interactive map cannot be fully used with a keyboard alone; the same places are available in the list.
• Use with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack) has not yet been tested on real devices.
• Some provider and administration pages and PDF documents (invoices) have not been fully checked.
• Some content added by providers may have photos without descriptions.
